QR menu and price list generator
Skip reprinting menus and price lists. Type the items and prices; you get a QR menu customers open on their phone, an A4 poster for the counter and a ready text to send on WhatsApp.
Everything this tool does happens in your browser. The names, phone numbers and amounts you type are not sent to our servers and are gone when you close the page.
The menu is too full for a QR code (phones could not read it). Remove some items, shorten the descriptions or split the menu in two. The link and “Send as WhatsApp text” still work; no QR code or poster was made.
The menu travels inside the link the QR code carries; there is no permanent server record. So when a price changes you need to make and print a new QR code. It suits sending on WhatsApp, A4 printouts and short-term use rather than a permanent sticker on the table.
How to use it
- Type a title and add one item per line: name; price; description. Start a line with # for a section heading.
- Download the QR code as PNG or print the A4 poster. You can also send the menu on WhatsApp as text.
- Try the menu as customers see it once yourself with “Open the menu as customers see it”.
Good to know
- The menu travels inside the link the QR code carries; there is no server record. If a price changes, make and print a new QR code.
- A QR code holds roughly a 40–60 item menu; for a fuller menu the tool warns you and makes no QR (the link and the WhatsApp text still work).
- This is not for a permanent table sticker; it suits sending on WhatsApp, A4 printouts and short-term use.
- The page customers open carries a small link to this tool at the bottom.
Frequently asked questions
What does the customer see?
Someone who scans the code sees a plain menu page on their phone with the title, sections, item names, prices and descriptions. No app is needed.
Is my menu stored on a server?
No. The menu is embedded in the address inside the QR code; the part of the address after the # sign is not sent from the browser to a server.
How many items can I add?
The limit follows how readable the QR code stays, not the item count; the tool shows the fill as a percentage. A typical menu fits roughly 40–60 items. It has not been tried on every phone model; print your poster and scan it with your own phone to check.
What happens when I change a price?
The old QR code keeps opening the old menu. Make a new QR code for the new menu and replace the old one.
